Monkey Bars

Running feet
Scraped elbows
Hop scotch
Swing set
Clickety clack
Zooming down the driveway
Swinging so high I feel like I will fall out of my seat in the sky
But I don't
I touch the trees with my nose
and breath in the fresh cool air
I Swish down the cold slide
I want it to slow down but it doesn't
So I do it again and again
A mad rush through time
Slows me down
I get dizzy and fall and run to get in line
Til I'm so tired I need something to eat
I stagger home for warm food
and can't wait to go out again and play
Til the sun goes down
