Lust wants Love

Fall in Lust
Fall into heaven or so it seems
For a moment or a lifetime
Descent into Hell
We only want pleasure and to be desired, be held and to hold
Why does it turn into pain, distance, despair, resentment, jealousy?
Because Lust is not love
Love takes time and gives respect

Lust wants it all now!
Lust takes and breaks
Lust handles and mishandles
Lust wants what it sees and won’t take no for an answer
Lust holds on like a hungry dog clamping on a bone
Lust won’t let go, always wants more
When there is no more to give
Lust is selfish, rude, demanding and critical
Lust holds hands with all these things
Lust wants love
Love wants lust only in respect, time and trust
